Calling all botonists, ornothologists, lepidopterists and entomologists

Your talents are wanted to establish a baseline for our Wildlife Survey

Do you have knowledge of makaton or sign language?

We are very keen to enhance our skills. A few hours of your time will be highly valued

Skilled and enthusiastic gardeners wanted

None of us profess to be an expert horticulturalist, or anything approaching it. We would be very grateful for your advice and open to your suggestions.

Spade

We urgently need people to help us clear the site of grass and weeds, dig the soil, applying mulch, build raised beds and compost bins. Unlike private allotment holders community allotments do not receive any assistance in clearing the site. The sooner the ground is ready, the sooner we can plant autumn and winter vegetables.

There is no power on site, if you are able to bring petrol-engines equiment with you we would be extremely grateful.

Fruit cage
Keen volunteers are also needed to help build fruit cages, rabbit proof fences and doors. If you are able to help, if even only for a few hours we would be very glad to hear from you.
