March Activities
at Mudlarks 2009

March can be a very tricky month when predicting the weather. There may be sunshine one day and a hard frost another.

March 2008 temperatures and sunshine generally slightly above average. Rainfall was well above average. Overall March 2007 was a mild and sunny month with slightly below average rainfall. A cold snap after mid month brought some areas some snow. In March 2006 it was a cold month with spells of wintry weather and below average temperatures. However, this was partially offset by warmer conditions during the final week of the month as winds turned south-westerly. We can expect the average sunlight for Hertford should be about 100-120 hours for the month.
